I am 19 years old from Las Vegas, Nevada. I've grown up with a Catholic background. I went to Religious Ed weekly in elementary school and spent three years at a Catholic middle school. After, I went to Clark High School, to study math and science in their magnet program, where I finally declared myself as an atheist. I am currently a freshman at UNR, and starting in the fall, I will begin studying Mechanical Engineering. I recently got involved with SSA and enjoy being a part of it.
Although born, raised, and educated in a Catholic community, my faith has since dwindled and disappeared. From Philadelphia to Reno I am currently in pursuit of a PhD in psychology. With a love for reading and a continual interest in why people do what they do, I have come to better understand myself, others, and God’s nonexistence. Aside from my interests in psychology I enjoy playing music, keeping fit, and open discussions with people of many different backgrounds.

Anthony was raised a native of Las Vegas, NV. At an early age, he was introduced to and captivated by non-denominational Christianity. He entered military service in 2005, which was heavily influenced by Christianity, which he felt was initially positive. He recognized that this was being used to manipulate his fellow servicemen into the moral righteousness of U.S. foreign policy. Anthony originally perceived atheism as evil, however upon listening to mainstream scientists who were also atheists
